Me+T are an American Indie and Americana duo out of Tennessee. The band formed in 2010 from a couple of moody, passionate, goofy, creatives who met on a "play date" set up by extended family members and who both found their love of songwriting early on. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses acoustic vibes, emotional lyrics and unique harmonies with intimate storytelling that will make you want to be in the moment. Now hailed as Ones to watch by Nashville Songwriters Association, Me+T has music featured in film and television and have almost 2 Million streams/downloads and growing.
"I'M NOT HERE"
When asked to write a title track for the film, Me+T ended up writing and performing the song for the trailer, along with over 4 minutes of additional music in this movie. Nominated for Best Original score at The Golden Trailer Awards in Los Angeles, California, this song has around 1.5 Million streams and downloads and continues to grow its audience.
"THREE LITTLE WORDS"
“Three Little Words" is a jingle written and performed by Me+T for a collaboration between Newmark Models and Playboy for their Valentines Day promotional video. When asked to compose a sweet song that would play to a wide audience, they rose to the challenge and created a piece of work that could be used for any number of commercial uses.
"CLOSER"
“Closer” is a song composed and performed by Me+T with a book series in mind. “T” (Tim Iler) not only co-wrote, performed and produced the song, but also shot and edited the music video. They released “Closer" in 2021 across platforms.
"WHAT IT MEANS"
Appealing to their Americana sensibilities, Me+T composed “What It Means” and released it as a single in 2023. This song earned them accolades from the Nashville Songwriters association as Ones to watch with the lyrical composure being compared to the writings of one of their great inspirations, Jonie Mitchell.
"THE GIFT"
“The Gift '' is the first holiday track by Me+T. Released as a single during the holiday season of 2023, the song was recorded at their home studio and at Studio West in San Diego with a production time of just around 48 hours. To keep with the simplistic style of the song, the music video was shot completely on Iphones as a way of documenting their process.
